The Senior section is a very active part of the golf club and to qualify you need to be 55 years young or older.  They meet every Thursday morning, even during the winter, about 9.00 ish for a coffee and to make a draw for partners to play 15 holes of social / friendly golf.

During the playing season a Handicap Eclectic of 12 rounds is played on alternative Tuesdays with the Winner winning a trophy and also a number of prizes are available.

There is the Caithness and Sutherland Seniors Golf Society to join if you want and events are played at various courses over the season.  Many Seniors Opens also abound.

Also during the season a number of "friendlies" are played against other clubs and you are encouraged to take part.  These generally include a meal.

These photographs were taken in January 1999 after the Seniors golf followed by mince and tatties. Thank you to Harold Reid for letting us have a copy.
